Freight shipping remains an essential service and most of our carriers will keep operating in the US, Canada and cross-border. They are changing their processes to ensure your health and safety at the time of pickup and delivery. Many carriers updated us that they will wave signatures on BOLs in most cases as necessary. Some of their services – like inside delivery – may be temporarily stopped as a precaution. Driver availability may also be an issue for some carriers. Please be patient with the carriers, who are doing their best in very stressful circumstances.

To help us serve you best, please update us with your current operating hours when booking. Please also double check your shipment details, and verify before booking that pickup and delivery locations are still staffed, and will be available on pickup and delivery days.

Membership perks depend on a plan and include: online access to our exclusive discounted freight rates, shipment tracking, automated documentation: bills of lading, shipping labels, online shipping history, multiple users, LTL, FTL, container, rail and parcel shipping, priority handling, dedicated account representatives and brokers, individual onboarding, annual shipping optimization and an API integration, if required.

Basic Free Membership: $0/month
SMB Plus Membership: $29 CAD/month ($296 annually as a one-time payment)
SMB Priority Membership: $99 CAD/month ($998 annually as a one-time payment)

Yes. You can add additional users to your account on your Membership dashboard, under ‘’Additional Users’’.

If you are subscribed to a monthly plan, the cost of adding additional users is $12/month for Basic Free, $19/month for SMB Plus, $29/month for SMB Priority. Priority Unlimited includes unlimited users.
If you are subscribed to a yearly plan, the cost of adding additional users is $194/year for SMB Plus, $296/year for SMB Priority.

Current customers, i.e. booking members of Freightera who have signed up for an account before July 8th, 2020 will be grandfathered. Their accounts will be marked as LEGACY Advantage accounts, and they will receive extra points for broker quotes and keep the number of already added users above the Basic Free account. To claim their LEGACY Advantage status, booking members need to visit their new Dashboard within 90 days after July 8th, 2020 and make one online quote.

Shippers who have signed up before July 8th, 2020 and have not yet booked with us, but want to claim LEGACY Advantage status need to make at least one new online booking before September 8th, 2020 to gain the advantage.

Your requests are prioritized and taken care of first, and you get minimum turnaround time (1-2 hours) for broker quotes during business hours.

We will assign a representative to your account, based on your shipping needs. Your representative will be your primary point of contact, dedicated to providing you with shipping expertise and first-class service.
Depending on your business needs, your dedicated account representative may also be your dedicated broker (e.g. if you’re mostly shipping flatbeds requiring specialized broker expertise).

Your dedicated account broker will be in charge of providing you with brokerage services and quotes, ensuring that you get the best pricing.

Your dedicated account representative will schedule an onboarding session to welcome you to Freightera, discuss your business goals and shipping needs, and demonstrate the benefits of the platform for your specific needs.

Companies with a shipping budget of $150K or more per year qualify for our shipping cost optimization plan. Our specialist will review your typical spending and see how much you could save with the Freightera optimization plan. We can review your spending for any length of time: from 1 to 3 months. We’ll also do a mid-year review of your shipping optimization, to make sure you’re getting the most value for money.

Since many businesses are affected by COVID-19, we have decided to make the first 3 months of our SMB Plus and SMB Priority plans available for free trial, for a limited time. You’ll be able to use all the services included in each plan during your trial.

The credit card you have used to sign up for a membership account will be charged at the end of your free trial period.

Yes.
If you decide to upgrade, you will receive a prorated discount on your new price. If you upgrade your plan from yearly to higher plan monthly, you’ll get a prorated discount on your new price.
If you downgrade your plan, you will have access to all of your current plan’s features until the end of the billing cycle, and afterwards your plan will be downgraded.

Yes. This option is available through the ‘’Add-Ons’’ page on your Membership dashboard.

On the Services page of your Freightera dashboard, click ‘’Cancel Auto-Renewal’’ to cancel auto-renewal in the next billing cycle. Please be informed that we do not offer refunds for memberships.

At the end of your billing cycle, your account will automatically be switched to the Basic Free plan, you’ll still be able to use your free Freightera membership account and access all your shipment data, and you won’t be charged for membership in the next billing cycle. You can switch back to your paid plan at any point.

You will be able to save money with Annual Membership Plans. On the plans page, choose your plan and then click ‘’SAVE with Annual Plan’’ to get a discount.

Your membership is automatically renewed every billing cycle, until you decide to cancel it.
If you chose the discounted Annual Membership Plan, you're committed to it for one year. It is automatically renewed at the end of the year, unless you decide not to renew.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and Paypal (coming soon).

If you’re signing up for a paid membership plan (SMB Plus, SMB Priority, or Priority Unlimited), we require your credit card information upon sign up so your membership would automatically continue after your 3 months free trial ends.

There are no surprise charges. All taxes are included in the price, and every billing cycle you’ll be charged a fixed amount for your plan.

We do not offer refunds for membership.

Providing as detailed information as possible on your business helps us serve you better. By knowing your business size, shipping frequency, and services required, we will be able to assign a qualified rep to your account and find you better quotes and help you to get the best carriers and rates for your needs.

Different types of system emails go to different contacts listed. All billing information goes to the accounting contact. Technical contacts are listed in case of technical issues for API integrations, if your business requires this.

Accounting users can only access ‘’My Bills’’ part of the dashboard. Adding an accounting user is free.
Accounting contacts cannot access the shipping pages at all, they are simply contacts to whom we send invoices and other information related to accounting and billing.

Depending on your membership plan, you start each month with a certain number of points, which you can use for broker quotes.
You can earn more points by booking a shipment, or by upgrading your plan.
Please note your automated online quotes are unlimited.
If you need more points, you can get them as add-ons without upgrading your plan.
You can check your remaining point balance on your Membership dashboard.
Earned points do not accumulate: your point counter resets each month. Purchased points do not expire.

Freightera online platform uses high-level security software to protect both customer and carrier information. No unauthorized user can view system data or information. We also use:

  • System alerts to identify weak user passwords
  • Continual, rigorous site testing to ensure protection against hacking
  • Robust, redundant, fully-scalable servers to handle all web traffic

Yes. If you’ve got access to the internet, you’re set. Freightera online freight shipping platform runs works best with Google Chrome 13 or higher, Internet Explorer 8 or higher, Safari 5 or higher and Mozilla Firefox 4 or higher.
